Laura has assisted our organisation

I was trained to see the business as functional silos, studying and judging the performance of separate teams or departments without a full holistic view. Laura has given me the systems knowledge. Today, as a Continuous Improvement Professional I instantly see connections and have the skills to both bring the customer perspective end to end as well as establish shared accountability and measures.
When preparing for Expo Dubai 2022, the team and I had a significant workload on our plates. We had to organise hundreds of meetings. deliver multiple projects, and coordinate events simultaneously. Shared visual accountability gave us something a feeling of safety. The team collaborated as never before, even in my absence!
One of my passions was to understand how to flatten the organization by giving people clarity, alignment, and full transparency on how each individual produces value end to end. In the books you may find inspiration to do so;
yet in here you will find the principles and
formula how to actually do it.
I want people to think about the customer, and not me. A top-down organisational structure makes everyone look up, rather than collaborate across functions. Laura has helped our growing team to redefine roles and responsibilities
by seeing the whole.
Laura taught me to see the system holistically, map roles and responsibilities based on interactions, and only then apply Lean and other Change Management tools. That knowledge profoundly impacted my career and confidence. Today, I lead C-level teams, knowing how to navigate in complex systems while pragmatically delivering change.
This is a s step by step approach that is even clear for scientists and engineers. The concept of Self-Managed Teams often frighten leaders because they assume there will be chaos if top-down structure is removed. I experienced the opposite. Anchoring roles and responsibilities based on value flow boosts the ownership and clarity.
