Give a Seat to Purpose, Profit, People, Planet and Soul

Thank you for being late. I never thought, I would say this, especially when it comes to missing important deadlines.

When I closed The Holistic Enterprise Consultancy and founded Holistic Business University in 2023, I thought stitching purpose, profit, people and planet an alternative business growth system was enough.

We broke the first World Record with you proving that profit and humanity can thrive side-by-side.
We launched a documentary film and started writing a book revealing your stories as Holistically thinking leaders.

But something felt incomplete.

While the four pillars – purpose, profit, people, planet-were clear. But the soul? The element you all named during the World Record Interviews was missing.

I’d sit at my desk for hours, staring paralyzed at 2024 milestones. Not because I lacked discipline.
But because my soul refused to let me rush.

And finally, it all came together manifesting into 10 profound Holistic Leadership and Business Growth Principles.

Holistic Business University came through me but isn’t mine.
It is ours.

Give a Seat to Purpose, Profit, People, Planet and Soul

Thank you for being late.

A year ago, I missed deadlines for Holistic Business University. Not because I lacked discipline.
But because my soul refused to let me rush.

When I founded Holistic Business University in 2023, I thought stitching purpose, profit, people and planet into one and alternative business growth system was enough.

I’d sit at my desk for hours, staring paralysed at 2024 milestones.
For months listening to interview recordings of leaders and stories from the World Record. And finally, it all came together manifesting into 10 profound Holistic Leadership and Business Growth Principles.

Holistic Business University came through me but isn’t mine.
It is ours.

10 Holistic Leadership and Business Growth Principles:

Which of those relate most to your inner human?

1. Embrace Audacious Impact

Every entrepreneur and team can play BIG once they find their audacious business IMPACT.

2. Lead from the Light, not from the Lack

Lack creates more lack. You become a needy drama queen requiring instant, external energy. It pushes people away. Light always has an inner source. Your only job is to go inwards.

3. Give a seat at the table to Purpose, Profit, People, Planet and Soul

Weaving together purpose, profitability, environmental stewardship, people-oriented and soul perspectives in every aspect of decision-making leads to holistic business performance, empowering self-managed teams to flourish in clarity.

4. Engage Your Ecosystem

Your clients, suppliers and other parts of your ecosystem must actively participate in strategic sessions, accountability meetings and work together for amplifying impact and results.

5. Redesigning Siloed Structures

Traditional top-down hierarchies should be replaced by alternative business systems that visually shows how your business works as one interconnected system, highlighting each team member's impact towards results.

6. Align Metrics with Impact

Move beyond siloed KPI's; embrace metrics that are driven by purpose and profit igniting collective efforts to unfold bigger IMPACT.

7. Bring Truth and Use Time Wisely

Create deeper conversations by asking: "Where do I and we lie to ourselves today?", or "What would my Soul do in this situation?"

8. See Yourself and Others as Energy

The energy we put into the relationship with ourselves and the world will always come back to us. Team dynamics and productivity is different when we focus on what to fight for, rather than what to fight against.

9. Failing Up and Instantly Forgiving

A failure is as a steppingstone towards our biggest impact. Instantly forgive yourself and others for the failures, and keep moving forward.

10. Choose Being the Cause rather than Effect

We all have the moments where we feel like victims of circumstances, but we are also given a choice to stop being the effect and become the cause again. Being a passenger who blames others won't get us far. It is from the driver's seat that we can serve our mission.
